You can't fully love something until you understand it. So don't feel so bad for yourself.

That's great you know so much about grammar...meanwhile I'm the only person who actually gave a decent answer to OP's question.

You can go major in Linguistics, I'll go the physics route.
Bitch

Cancer is literally the uncontrolled growth of new cells. The principle of cancer is what allows beings to evolve and live; a manifestation of cancer exists when human embryos multiply a bunch.

That's why it's so prevalent. It's a universal mechanism.

Well the point is that engineers deal with "sectors" in the first place.

PhD in physics, you get to decide which fucking laser lab / particle accelerator / fusion ignition plant you wanna work at.

I pity you all :(

>> No.3855202 [View]

>>3855193

haha, is this because engineers work for the private sector?

How much work will temperature do on a single atom?

You need to define your concepts in terms of general/abstract principles, not specific instances.

Physics is like the "real" version of mathematics.
Being quantitative is key.

Imagine a near infinitude of photons, all rushing through some area. If you were to place a charged particle in that area, the photons would affect the charged particles' motion because they create an electric field at that point.

Thus, the electric field creates a certain condition in space, whereby placing any charged particle inside that space will bring about some motion in the charged particle.

We say that it takes energy to do work. Energy is simply what nature must use in order to push something a certain distance (there's more to it of course, but this should be a bit satisfying for now)

He uses the Earth's magnetic field. Also his sled has something to do with dark energy, or something.

>3. An airplane flying at 95 m/s, E, is accelerated uniformly at the rate of 0.50 m/s^2, E, for 10.0 s. What is its final velocity in m/s and km/h?

Same concept as before.

V = 95 + (.5)(10)

In the future, pay attention to the directions of both velocity and acceleration.

Velocity will increase if the acceleration points in the same direction as does velocity.

1. A race car traveling at 45 m/s east is slowed uniformly at the rate of -1.5 m/s^2 for 10 seconds. What is its final velocity in m/s?

Change in velocity is equivalent to acceleration over time, by definition.

V = 45m/s - (1.5m/s^2)(10sec)

3.92a not 2.8 a, sorry.

>> No.3852475 [View]

But essentially the way you work this is by defining max velocity as 2.8*a, where "a" is your constant acceleration.

During the first 2.8 seconds, your average velocity is merely 2.8*a/2 = 1.4a.

Multiply this by the time of this first interval, and you get 1.4a*2.8 = 3.92a, which represents the distance traveled during the first 2.8 seconds.

Distance traveled in the last 7.2 seconds is multiplied with max velocity (which we found to be 2.8a), giving us 7.2*2.8*a = 20.16a.

20.16a + 3.92a = total distance, or 100 meters.

Notice that the two intervals add up to 10 seconds, and thus the previous equation works.

Solve for A, then solve for V max.

(2 pi r)^2 becomes 4pir^2.

Cross multiply both sides of the equation, isolate r cubed on one side, and take the 3rd root of both sides.
