What kinds of particles? Do overlapping particles count as one? Or do successive overlaps cancel out value?

What about the Pauli Exclusion principle? I mean how many fucking energy states does this particle have?

Get wrecked OP :3

Nice problem though, I have to say.

The scientific community is always open to debate; you have no idea what you're talking about / are full of yourself.

For instance, I believe Dirac came up with a theory by which electrons were simply a hole, and the rest of space was filled with electrons occupying lower ground-states, and he used this as the theoretical basis of his ideas relating to ground states and such.

Scientists come up with crazy theories all the time. The point is that as long as everyone uses a consistent mathematical framework, and that mathematical framework itself is built from experiment/reasonable generalizations, then there's no harm nor foul.

It's just like how mathematicians don't have to worry about which variables they use.

Scientific investigation has always been an inductive field. That's just now reality works.

You betray your ignorance when you try to make fun of a mathematicians' notation which you don't understand at all.

That's all.

What can you do? You can be a man!

Pretend today is the first day of your life, and your current disposition is not owed to you. A man is not defined by how much he's failing at anyone time; it's how the second derivative of his success level changes following a losing streak.

Unless you all happen to be grounded in graduate level quantum physics, quantum field theory, particle physics, relativity, and astrophysics then this conversation is completely meaningless.

Notice how I don't have to actually PROVE any of you aren't educated. That's apparent given the 96% bullshit index of all the posts leading up to this one.

Did I answer your question, you cunt of an OP?

but thank you OP. this is the only sci v religion thread I conceptually admire.

You don't understand how evolution works, do you?

It all has to do with random mutations. A few cells' difference may save a mosquitos life from an incoming wasp, because it had a gene which happened to encode for new retinal receptors.

That's how evolution works. As a species goes along, it only adds to the patterns it already has, so just like e^x, its really just equal the the accumulative of its derivative over time.

Anyone smart knows that olive oil =/= protein

Anyone smart knows that protein is what allows one to "bulk up", not fucking olive oil.

Guzzling a bunch of olive oil probably won't kill you, but I'm not sure and that's why I warned you.

People have died from Vitamin A overdoses in the past, and I happen to be worried for the well-being of anyone who confuses olive oil with amino acids.

I mean you'll probably be fine, but it's like...the best way to bulk up is by exercising/consuming protein.

10 - x represents the entire perimeter of the triangle, not a side. You have to divide by three to get the side. That was one of the pitfalls built into the question.

C = 500x + (sqrt[2*2 + (5-x)^2])700

To find the total "off-road" distance means finding the length of a hypotenuse whose legs are equal to 5-x and 2.

For the second one...

A = 2*pi*(10-3x) + [(x^2)sqrt3]/4

To find the domain of A, first recognize that A must have a positive value.

To find the min/max values, take the derivative of the Area function, set it equal to zero, and solve for the maxima/minima.

But actually, common-sense geometry could solve this as well...we know triangles are less area effective than circles, so to speak.

10/3rds for the side of the triangle, then, will give the minimum value. Devoting all 10 meters to the circle should ensure the maximum value of the function.

Last part of this problem is merely "derivative" of what we've already discussed, if you will.
