What do I think of the moon landings?

Awesome! ^_^

Unfortunate that the space program here in the US is, well frankly it's on hold in contrast to what it could be, but I suppose it's also important to take care of ones backyard prior to running out into the street to play.

Personally, I've always found that getting a good nights rest, and then doing a cram study in the morning, and immediately before the exam, has served me very well; whether or not I've studied beforehand or otherwise.

>My line of thought: What use is studying beforehand if you're too sleep deprived to make use of it properly either way?

Hmm...which god are you asking about?

Regardless, I don't believe in any deities.

Which is kind of an odd sentence when one thinks about it.

Why would you ever need to believe in a god if it exists? This would be akin to believing in gravity. Foolishness, one doesn't believe in gravity, one simply accepts that gravity is an aspect of our reality.

So, even if gods existed, whatever that may be, I wouldn't believe in them either way. I would acknowledge their existence, and treat them in such a manner.

There's a reason physicists don't change: "I believe in gravity" after all.

>Why are so many people content with the fact that life is meaningless?
Life is what one makes of it.
>That nothing you do can ever mean anything?
Even if we are to take such a position; that 'in the end' the universe dies a cold death, and nothing escapes. Will not the here and now have taken place regardless?
>That we are simply animals?
Yes? This is somehow a bad thing?
>That free will is nonexistent if we don't get into quantum mechanics where its probabilistic which isn't much better?
Hey! Question your next thought.
Okay, now was the moment of your questioning of your thoughts a definite event as set in motion upon the spark of the big bang? Arguably, yes.

So, was the decision to question your next thoughts any less meaningful?
>I think about it all the damn time as I'm sure a lot of people do but how do you find the strength and courage to pretend like their is some purpose?

What are your dreams? You've no aspirations what so ever? Life is just a big shitty hole, nothing will ever matter, and you should just go kill yourself now; to save yourself the trouble of living.

You know what some of the things I live for are? I like to see the night sky; because it will be gone one day, does that make it worthless?

Because the text you are reading will come to an end briefly, does the person behind it typing out the imparted meaning, from characters etched out and reworked for centuries, become hollow? The very meaning of the message vanishes in a wisp of smoke because you are no longer actively reading it?

Because I will one day(Hah, I actually go under the impression that I won't end up dieing, by jumping ship into a 'new' body because I can't come to grips with my own mortality yet. ^_^) die, does that make my life, the things I like to do, the people I've encountered and befriended, my memories. Suddenly disappear from the past; becoming meaningless, worthless, because one day the universe will come to an end?

I say no.

It does tend to resolve some mechanical problems in the plot of the mythologies. Whereas a purely monotheistic(The only ones I've seen are new age cults) religion must attempt to resolve issues of 'bad things' in connection with an often omnipotent deity; a polytheistic religion can simply point to the 'bad things' deity.

>also are you religious?
That's a tough question to answer. I'm certainly not religious in the traditional sense though.

What is the poster asking?

What would happen if the image progressed?

The same thing that would happen if you rammed your head into another's pelvis.
