Hi guys, I know this might not be the right place to ask but I really am in need for help,

I have a reference project which involves the current year (or 2012-2013) costs for hiring staff in New Zealand and/or Australia.

Anyone has a reference site or some leads ?

Thanks in advance guys.

We're getting so close: I quote:

>Half way through the project only one per cent had been collected so the skeptics were going strong, but that was actually right on schedule. One per cent is only seven doublings from 100 per cent.

>The number of bits moving around the internet, spatial resolution of brain scanning, the number of bits we're downloading about the brain, the number of nodes on the internet, total bit capacity of wireless networks from Morse code to 4G today — that's what grows exponentially.

The only time I am not profoundly afraid and scared of the world is when the peaces come together in understanding. When I was small, it was dinosaurs, after that it was computers, after that, astronomy.

The only thing besides love (which one aspect of that is sorely but not especially missing ATM,) and understanding.

Maybe I can take 2013 and make it a purely intellectual year, one of solitude and reading. Maybe I will have the audacity to attempt to learn all physics to a satisfactory level.

I want to get away from the pain (not environmental, my family is nice but we live in the suburbs which is a whole thing in and of itself) so what books, giant dusty (or not) books will I need on this holy quest.

I have been thinking a lot about people who do not believe or understand the theory of evolution..

If you don´t believe in that how come we the humans look so different from each-other.. Why did "god" create black, white, yellow and so on.. If "God" created humans in his own image.. How did he look like then?

Its complex numbers for pre-calculus.
im finding the roots of the numbers, i was doing fine until i reached this problem im basically fucked please help

my problem is:
find 3 cubed roots of 729 cis pi/5

the 729 factors into 9^3, however getting the pi/5 to factor i breaking my balls i have no idea what to do. once i get that hopefully i can finish them.

Need some more help on my Homework /sci/.

Question: For a positive point charge Q located at a distance d from each of two grounded perpendicular conducting half-planes shown, find the expressions for

a) the potential and the electric field intensity at an arbitrary point P(x,y), and
b) the surface charge densities induced on the two half-planes.

I know I have to use the method of Images, but do I use Q4 or do Q1 and Q2, then add them up or something?

If you're still here, I have a question that isn't clarified very well in my book.

In problems like these where it isn't expressly stated to use Laplace's or Poisson's Equation, how do you decide? My book says when there is no free charge, but I am having a hard time understanding what that means.

Good sir or madame, If I could Hug you I could, but since I can't, I will simply bid you thanks and give you an internet, as with this, I have finished the problem.

Please, someone help. I don;t know where this last boundary eqn is!

>> No.4433489 [View]

Okay, so I have this so far:
V=(V1(y) = C1y+C2, 0 < y < .8d
(V2(y) = C3y+C4, .8d < y < d

V1(0) = 0 = C2
V2(d) = V_0 = C3*d+ C4 => C4 = V_0-C3*d
V1(.8d) = V2(.8d) = C1*(.8d) = C3*(.8d)+(V_0-C3*d)
but I am missing an equation, cause I have 4 unknowns, not 3 :(

Additional help would be helpful.

>> No.4433367 [View]

Please. If anyone can help me any more than this, I would be grateful.

I'm still not quite understanding what you are saying :(
