Lots of reasons desu. I'll list some below, roughly from most obvious to hmm ok tier.
Stupid, in college because it's just expected of middle class and higher, general disinterest, used to things just werking, mental disability, anxiety, depression, addiction, forgot you registered for a class, professor is gay so can't bear going to his class, illness, etc

Why has weather prediction gotten seemingly worse over the past decade? Are they trying too hard to be too granular? Seems like you could flip a coin and get better results, they miss weather events by up to a day and change forecasts wildly all the time. Should meteorologists just stop trying 10 day predictions and stick to maybe one or two?

Pic somewhat related, this app has been telling me it's about to rain all day but it isn't even cloudy yet.

Well yes, intuitively there's no reason for one identical path to be preferred over another; I suppose I just wanted something more solid than that. It was mainly because I was trying to work a similar problem where the symmetry was less obvious (as above but terminals at adjacent vertices), and I thought asking this might help.
I offer my apologies to the thread I killed.

Do you mean taking equations at one of the endpoints? Or just any node? Ultimately there are only three different currents in the circuit, but I can't write the equations in terms of these three without knowing this beforehand.
Thanks by the way, this sounds like what I was looking for.

I think here it would be more relevant to consider definitions of symmetry from graph theory, which I'm not sure about.

The naïve approach gives me equations in 12 variables. While feasible, solving them is neither elegant, nor what I would want to do in an exam.
I find the traditional method elegant, and am asking for help in making it rigorous.
As a graduate of high school, and one well versed in rigor, your help would be much appreciated.

You know this classic circuit analysis problem? It appears to be impossible to solve elegantly without making the leap of intuition that, due to the "symmetry" of the circuit, the division of current is likewise symmetrical (whence one can solve the problem by connecting equipotent nodes).
It seems to me that by "symmetry" is meant that no matter which path the current takes, it will pass through the same sequence of resistances. If this is the case, how can one prove that symmetry of currents follows, in general?
The other possible interpretation is symmetry of potential drops, but doesn't this presuppose symmetry of currents.
Thanks in advance.

nahh man you should be good. same thing happened to me with my foot a few years ago and it turned out I was just in a weird position. it lasted about 2 weeks and the feeling started to come back. but if you spontaneously combust then its totally not my fault.

Who cares if that's the case? I'm not suggesting we get rid of women altogether, just provide an alternative for men that want their own babies without having to go in halfsies with someone else. Perhaps the same process could be used to make sperm for women

Uh no, women are disgusting. I was just thinking I could make money off somehow developing a way for you to make eggs as a male and then you could get one of those skanks that has babies for money and plant your own fertilized egg in there

Just had an idea about how to improve humans. Why can't we just have dicks and fuck ourselves too? Like when we wanted a baby we could just impregnate ourselves. This I think will be the next evolutionary step. Snakes are doing it: http://www.newser.com/story/197719/giant-snake-has-virgin-birth.html

So like why couldn't our balls just make sperm with some variations so we aren't inbreeding or whatever and then just fuck ourselves?

I am from /g/ so I don't really have any science images.
