Oh god, the inaccuracies in the picture
If Western Antarctica and Greenland melted sea levels worldwide would rise about 30-40 meters. There would be widespread flooding etc etc...
However. With that amount of melting many places that were uninhabitable before can soooorta be lived in now, such as a barren Greenland and Antarctic peninsula. But with massive flooding, glaciers fucking off, the amount of arable land and water decreases to the point where you have a very, very big problem.

Oh, and if Greenland decides to suddenly melt a whole shitload of itself then the Conveyor Belt current gets switched off and Europe goes back into an ice age.

1) Google Manhattan Beach Project or SENS, as it is what will most probably enable you to see a green and blue Mars 500 years from now.
2) Scia, quit gettin' mad at furry games

Having a green lifestyle doesn't have to mean you use less water or energy, ssytems just need to be made more efficient. The idea of a carbon tax is the stupidest fucking idea I've ever heard, unless ALL the money from those taxes are going into renewable energy and upgrading the grid infrastructure for less losses.
