There is a difference between making a broad statement about a continent and it's general healthcare practices and me talking about my group of friends and our experiences with our socialized healthcare.
And the fact that 90% of Canada's healthcare companies left is less a fuckup on the government's part and more corporate assholeism. I'm quite sure that the Canadian government didn't make it difficult as fuck to get private health insurance.
