Let's say a person go crazy and, tired of the common life, suddenly wants to go to the Moon in a one-way only trip.

Let's say s/he would like to survive there so s/he must bring something to produce energy (solar panels?), extract oxygen, water and CO2 and cultivate plants to harvest food.
OPTIONALLY: S/He'd like to surf the Internet for some hours a day, so s/he'd have to setup a radio connection from home at Earth and the Moon to work when the two locations are facing each other.

How much money would s/he need to do such a thing?

I think that the concepts of Nirvana and Samsara can be related with Heaven and.. I'd say Purgatory.
Until you don't reach enlightenment you must reincarnate and eventually face all the difficulties and tribulations of life.

Also, there's a figure in Buddhism called Bodhisattva who is basically a "enlightened" that continue to reincarnate to benefit other people, helping them to reach enlightenment.

Btw at Buddha's times Jesus wasn't born. How can someone be condemned if he/she couldn't even know about him?
