What's the point of studying computer science if electrical engineers can get jobs in software just fine?

What are some basic HS level science misunderstandings people commonly have?
I'll start: increasing the surface area increases friction.

How do you study?
I just set up the material (book, website, ect.) and dick around with it while taking notes. Then I sometimes later re-read the notes. How do you do it? Any books or advice to help with learning?

If I have a point in 3d space how do I project it to a 2d screen? Say if I have the camera's position and where it's looking at represented by two 3d vectors. How do I covert any given 3d vector in the same space into 2d screen coordinate?

Question for chemists, is quantum chemistry basically watered down quantum mechanics? Doesn't seem like you guys have to take that much mathematics.
