How will you settle disputes then?

Not OP here.
Will you fund the building of a castle for when the system collapses?
You can come and be protected in my great kingdom.
We will first have to find a nice hill to place the castle though.
It will be somewhat self sufficient with food and legal systems and such.
It will also be like a trading post for local farmers and such.
They can pay fees for services like:
To be protected from invasions.
To have their goods sold on the marketplace.
To get a seal of inspection of their goods.
+ many more things.

I will be the king first.
That position could be challenged through tests every year.
The kings job is to be the military.
He will be "the breeder"
We want to promote a great and independent population, healthy, strong, and happy.
The king gets to choose between the women that wants to bear children to the king. The king gets to breed with who he thinks will make the best children.

>The flaw of eco-retreats is that when industrial capitalism collapses masses of scavengers will raid your place and kill you. That's why rich people in the future will live up in the mountains where soil, air and water are less polluted, the temperatures cooler and the geography forms natural defenses.

What you are talking about is the collapse of the states right?
As they no longer can hold their monopoly due to elements of capitalism within their system rendering the state useless and incapable of controlling anything anymore.
Not due to capitalism.

To pay the dentist, you want to have healthcare. To saty on the land, you need to pay local taxes. You can reduce the impact of money, but not 100%.
So you are not against money?
What about rules?
Will there be contracts?
How is the society structured?

This was a shortlisted IMO question from 2010 and here's the question:
Prove that the maximal possible colors is 2nif the rows and columns of the 2nX 2ntable are numbered from 0 to (2n)-1the cells have been colored with the property “for each 0(is less than or equal to)i, j(is less than or equal to)(2^n)-1 the jth cell in the ith row and the (i+j)th cell in the jth row have the same color, and the indices of the cells in a row are considered modulo 2n.

There is a proof online on the IMO website (question N6 from 2010), but I was particularly confused on the induction hypothesis and how one would know what the next step should be. Either explaining the online proof in greater detail, providing another proof, or providing possible ideas on how to solve it, would be very appreciated.

To start you out (this may not be helpful at all), you should basically redefine things so that you have a coordinate grid, then an equation that connects Fibonacci numbers to numbers you would produce to make a sequence where each set of adjacent numbers create coordinate sets that loop around, and with different seed numbers produces the different possible coordinate sets for different colors, then one would need to find the period of sequences generated by an equation with certain seed conditions, then find a way to represent all of the possible seed conditions that generate different sets of points, and then to sum the periods of all of those sequences.

Help?

About him and his theory: I just read an interview by him in the news (he's Austrian, yay!) and he says he handed in the work he got the price for 1.5 years ago and it's still not published.

Forex trading is pretty fun. I'm at a similar decision to OP but I don't see why I can't get a major in chemgineering and something minor in finance and keep trading financial securities on the side.

It suffers from unclear story telling... but you have a way with words. A clearer distinction between your philosophical meanderings and the actual story would have made it a lot better.

/sci, I didn't have my father in most of my life. My mum is pretty intolerable and nasty 75% of the time, which more or less forced my two parents apart. She took my brother and I to a different country and "started a new life". Frequent social issues that I have experienced lead me to believe it has been a more pernicious influence than I initially believed.

I'm beginning to grasp the subtle differences in a personality that has been raised in a happy, positive household, in contrast with a single parent household.

To be honest, I think it's rotting our society. A massive rise in crime, detrimental drug addiction, child abuse and disturbed children is the result resulted. In males it seems to be especially detracting on various aspects of the psyche, but it will often effect the females in the family as well.

I have compared and contrasted my friends personalities; single parents and both parents. Positive age appropriate behaviour is a lot more common among the children with two happy parents, along with confidence, popularity among peers and etc.

I think this is a very serious problem; probably a lot more serious than most of us perceive. Although I cannot prescribe an appropriate solution to this issue, I think we must try to take some measures to curtail the prevalence of such parental behaviours.

That is all.
