I'm changing my degree from Computer Engineering to Mathematics. What do you think /sci/ ?

Are mathematicians really the superior race?

Sup guys! i need some help. I'm looking for a book that can help me a lot about learning. Im not interested in books like "How to tweak your mind" or "Get a perfect memory in 12 steps". But im more interested in real psychological books. The other day my cell-biology professor started talking about books like that, but he didn't say a title. He was speaking about psychological experiments and that there are books that really work, well not like you read it and suddenly you can photo read ( witch i actually don't think is possible) but it teaches you how to learn a bit more effectively.

Hey /sci/ I am trying to figure out what I want to major in and do with my life. I know I want to go into a science field, but I am not sure which one. As such, please post your opinions of each type of science and their pros and cons.

Sup /sci/, I'd like your opinions on something I've been thinking about.
I noticed Observations are like quadratic equations, both have two equally correct, yet different, answers.

For instance, A Rocket traveling near light speed, the people inside the rocket will have different observations than observers outside the rocket.

Assuming everything imaginable can be described with mathematical axioms and algorythms ofc.
Discuss.

No idea where else to ask, but here goes.

Can anyone summarize gene-affective behaviour, and the flipside of it?
