Does mixing synthetic oil and pure oxygen present the same spontaneous combustion danger as does hydrocarbon based oils and pure oxygen?

But how do you know that you're perception of the universe is accurate and you are therefore not "persist(ing) in delusion"?

It is impossible to know everything. Besides how do you know this is even the real reality and not some simulation you are in?

It is possible that one could be in such a simulated reality and not know of it. Therefore it is possible that we could be in such a simulation and not know of it.

Unless we know everything except that we know everything. How do you know of something you don't know about. How can you prove you know everything? How do you know that theire is not something you don't know about. It's impossible.

We can not know we know everything. For their is no way of knowing of something that we don't know about. And there is no way of knowing whether or not this is indeed the case. And therefore one can not determine whether or not they know everything. And that being in itself something we don't know, it is impossible to know everything. :P

We don't, we can't know it's that simple can we? We would have to know everything to know that their is nothing more to know, to understand that we know that there is no more to be known, that it is not more complex. But even if we knew everything how do we know we know everything, how do we know that there is no more to be known. And if we don't and can't know that there is know more that can be known then how can we know everything. Therefore we don't know that "it's so simple" now do we?

temperature is the measure of the average random molecular kinetic energy of a substance

k=(1/2)mv^2

we know v is bounded, so the question is, is mass bounded?

true, but the bible is meant to explain how things came to be. written by humans its not a leap to think that most things are metaphorical in it. from that basis you could create a theory in which God exists and evolution is true and please both parties... in my opinion at least

>No one says that a god "can't" exist, just that one isn't needed to explain the universe, etc, and that there's no evidence of one.

>religion is just BULLSHIT

i was merely pointing out that in most religions the language and stories used are highly metaphorical, meaning that in Christian beliefs adam and eve may have been two primates who evolved into humans

if that were the case then both theories are true... just saying...
