am pretty sure that is the main problemw with 99% of hard stem, everyone understands conceptually the chapter/what they learned. See 1 or 2 easy examples and think that is all they need. Once they do even 1 exercise they realized they are fucked, cause of how many extra steps they can add in a word problem.
