Perhaps you could look at the into the way language affects the way we perceive the world? Start Here:

>implying astrOLOGY is also /sci/ material under this definition.

However, after looking over the front page again, this is grade 'A' material, so let's discuss. I don't have a problem with Muslims. Demonizing them is certainly not going to do anything besides make things worse. The problem, like with many other things, is the fringe element. This segment represents a group of desperate people (socially, economically, whatever) that end up controlled by power-tripping sociopaths that knowingly misinterpret a relatively peaceful text.

That discussion of them has nothing to do with /sci/

(1) They totally can mate and have offspring, but the offspring are typically sterile (see: donkeys)

(2) Better explanation than what I can give:

I'm not saging because this is actually a legitimate question even if it WAS meant to troll.

Rilo Kiley, Neko Case, Venetian Snares, Renard (please don't judge me or think I must be a furry; go fucking listen to it; it's good), Metric, Girl Talk, Anamanaguchi, The New Pornographers, Neutral Milk Hotel (because of lurking /mu/, those bastards), the Decemberists

That's a unordered excerpt from my recently played list on my iPod. I basically listen to whatever I'm in the mood to listen to. I tend to stay away from dubstep and what I'll call 'lyrics centric' rap (I like the beat, I WILL end up sitting there trying to understand them instead of enjoying the music. It's just how I am.)

Children's brains are still forming new connections; adults are not. Children's brains are more plastic. In fact, you start losing a bunch of useless connections at some point (after puberty? Fuck, it's morning here. Brain is dying). The brain isn't the black box it was in Freud's day; don't feed me 'tapping into the subconscious' bullshit.

Also, amphetamines are a class of drugs. Adderall is a prescription amphetamine.

I'm looking at a few Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior programs at a few different universities (UTexas, Michigan, UC Davis would be some top choices). Basically, I would have started next fall, but it turns out the deadline for to apply for fall admissions is OCTOBER the year before you start (which is insane). So, for now, I'm looking for field related work. It's actually supposedly not that hard to find because a lot of people just don't want to do what ecologists do (ex. I'm doing independent research on Coyotes right now that involves looking at Coyote scat under a microscope [identifying hair is a PAIN IN THE ASS]. Fun, I know).

/sci/ hates biology.
Haters gonna hate.
I have no idea what you'd be doing, though, but research sounds cool. I'm an ecologyfag; I'm looking at the state version of the EPA and a few other places for temp work after I graduate while I apply for grad school.

You have an astigmatism (like me).
If I close one eye, mine makes point light sources appear as duplicates at the points of a triangle around the original light source. Our eyes are just shaped weird (I'm also nearsighted as hell).

OH WOW.
I don't even remember how the argument started, but there was once a girl in one of my ecology classes who got into an argument with the professor during lecture (some minute point). I don't know HOW she ended up on the subject of abortion, but she did, and the argument ended with her mumbling something about post-birth abortion being legal in China. The professor and the class just stared. It was like time stopped. No one knew how we had gotten so off topic. No one knew where to go next. I think class ended after that.

This is not a troll. This really happened.
Pic related; everyone's face when

You don't.
They will.
I don't think an intelligence with no need to reproduce itself (it's immortal) would bother with destroying us. There's no reason for it to. Also, I think if the intelligence can learn anything, it can learn to value life.
