I've always been partial to the second one. Last time I read it (probably 10 or 11) I turned back to the front page and read it again right after I finished because I wasn't ready to give it up.
I really need to go through them again, I less read them than absorbed them, y'know?

No I'm pretty sure it was written by THE Virginia W00F. I didn't write it, but I guess it could have been someone else making fun of him/impersonating him.

well, some people consider novellas to be novels, or at least some of them. Take Animal Farm for instance. I don't think I've never heard it referred to as a novella and yet the edition I read was barely over 100 pages.

most relevant at least.

I like the way you think but not the way you write. I agree with anon, it's nasty and if it has any meaning other than the literal images represented by the words I can't really find it, except that maybe yr kind of unhappy in a gross sort of way. Maybe try writing more gently?

yeah it was pretty bad but some parts had potential I think especially the girls but it was really wordy and tryhard. I think he just needs to work on his self indulgence, and learn to understand when words just become words.

I wouldn't consider that young adult, at least not anymore.

I like it. Def has potential.

actually if what you were saying were true than it would be inherently contradictory because in my opinion if everyone's retarded than no one's actually retarded. Kind of like truth is what people believe. Also if you're right that means life itself is retarded, which I don't believe.

this post sucks mainly because you put bro in quotes and also because you're kind of being a conversation terrorist ("I can't comprehend", >>1820833

actually I think both of those guys are pretty good writers they're just popular. I think you're confusing popularity and accessibility for bad writing.

Yes I think she is very pretty and kind of interesting and way more sincere sounding than most of you jerk offs.
plus reading and playing videogames are both a big turn on for me.

yeah that whole "don't buy books" thing is a little bogus. telling people you don't buy books is in my opinion way more narcissistic than actually buying books (as long as you get around the reading them, that is). anon has a good point when they say that reading books from paper is way more pleasurable than reading shit off the internet/ having to worry about a library copy (plus libraries often don't have what you really want)

you seriously just made that post to show me that that was an inappropriate use of a comma?

or did you make that post to show me that I'm dumb? or a bad writer?

It's interesting how on 4chan an ad hominem attack is often considered the most valid point of argument. I think this is especially IRONIC considering this is a largely anonymous forum.

IMO lit is not the general populous, it is one section among many.
Ok, whatever, maybe this particular website isn't ideal, but I it's like climate change. Either we colonize another planet or we die. My point is that if this community wants to grow stronger and more fully realize its potential as an inspirational and critical tool, then drastic changes must occur. Switching forums is simply the simplest and most efficient I can think of.

I know, that's what I'm saying. We have somewhere naive and unbusted as of yet by callous anonymity. We could recreate it in our image, you see? Virgin earth

I was taking about the writers on YWS. I agree, I've read some strong stuff in the last few days.
