can confirm the existence of the esoteric texts, but they are just as gay as the exoteric ones and completely not worth the effort. Just become a catholic and worship the eternal λογος.
Actually, the esoteric stuff is even more gay than the exoteric stuff, not because the exoteric stuff is not already completely for faggots only, but because the higher orders actually involve butt sex. degenerates, I hope that they repent and come to Christ, but sins against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

The board basically consists of /r9k/ and /mu/ wash ups. The board is slow enough for tripfags to get the attention they so desperately need and the general population is stupid and immature enough to fall for it.

I don't care if you're a bad reader or don't understand literary theory but it says something about this board when someone can make a thread called "why don't you have a girlfriend" on a literature board and get 200 replies.

There are some people who want to discuss literature but instead we just get uninspired trolls and teen virgins from /r9k/ who don't actually read but are not against the idea of reading.

You'd think that we'd at least get some inspired trolling, instead we get shitheads like brownholes and his gang of homo tripfags that congregate on /litclub and guys like D&E who at times might display some wit but instead just have no life and spend all their days posting on /lit/.

It's fucking sad.

He's still the greatest but it's not like some people haven't come very close. Ex.

Cervantes
Dante
Tolstoy
Proust

The Classics are very rarely as good as their reputation might suggest, especially if you read them for entertainment. Nothing unique to America there.

I have never seen the word used in that context. I won't deny that it happens, I'm just saying that I have never experienced that.

Strong Atheism: Knowing that there is religion, and so not agreeing with it out of opinion or knowledge.

Weak Atheism: Not knowing that there is religion, and so not agreeing with it out of ignorance.

Those people are wrong.

Atheist =/= Antitheist, and practically anyone with any real interest in the subject knows that.

It sounds like you're coming at this from a Christian perspective. Confirm/deny?

One of my English Lit teachers is going to be quitting in a year or two and he basically doesn't give a fuck. It's awesome.

The other one, yeah, all curriculum all the time.
