/lit/ includes graphic novels, and the relationship between artist and writer is vital to the storytelling.

NOWHERE is this more true than Alan Moore's collaborations, particularly with Kevin O'Neill. Mr. O'neill has passed away today.

I would REALLY prefer not to have some brainlet tell me why a book about The Invisible Man, Jekyll and Hyde, Mina Murray, H.G. Wells, Dr. Moreau, Harry Potter, Mary Poppins, etc. etc. etc. doesn't belong in /lit/.

For the rest of you, post respects, thoughts, etc.

The fact that atheists even exist at all, fervently, and futilely, attempting to rationalize their fatalistic worldview, and wholly believing in their materialistic delusion, is merely a testament to the layerful ontological harmony ordained by God.

The syntheotic integralness of one's soul/noble essence, which remains especially strong within the living memory of one's childhood —which extends into one's personhood—; reconciliation of one's conscious self with one's essential self is requisite for reconciliation with God.

We were fresher & brighter then; we are newer & hollower now; the phœnecian, supernovæl substance of the soul continuously rolls out & returns in abundance.

>Thoughts?

Mortal sin congeals the prison of the self, precluding one from joining divinity, thus plunging one into the gelid darkness of hell.

One who carries in one's heart the unity of youth enters paradise, where everything is perfect in its noble essentiality.

>They ask, what burns in hell? Authorities [the Fathers] usually reply: “This is what happens to willfulness” [to individual will, self-interest]. But I say it is “Not” [it is the Nothing] that is burned out [that burns] in hell. For example: suppose a burning coal is placed in my hand. If I say the coal burns me I do it a great injustice. To say precisely what does the burning, it is the “Not”. The coal has something in it that my hand does not. Observe! It is just this “Not” that is burning me – for if my hand had in it what the coal has, and can do what the coal can do, it, too, would blaze with fire, in which case all the fire that ever burned might be spilled on this hand and I should not feel hurt.

One's body is the corporeal substance that one inherits, and the physical image of one's soul; one's aetheric bodyimage —to which the physical body attains— supersists beyond physicality/corporeality.

One who outgrows one's body grows one's wings.

>I'm scared of the destruction of identity and memories, religions talk about a soul but if the constituents of my ego aren't there anymore I'm starting to think it's the same as oblivion.
The id, the ego, the superego, are all constitutive of the nebula of personhood, which carries one's magnanimity, and conveys one's essence —as in life, so after death; after death the only thing that the one becomes stripped of are the superfluous elements that pertain to the world, the optifluous ones remaining intact, as Sofia totally collects, and reintegrates, one's soul.

The auditory sense in particular, and audible impression in general, are actually the last to wane —particularly before death.

Anyway, by experience the truth —which is objective & absolute— is fathomed; by imperience it is comprehended; by sumerience one is fulfilled by it; one who is deficient in experience is/becomes convoluted in imperience, every so often changing & rehashing what one, and others, regard as the truth; one who is deficient in imperience is/becomes exhausted in experience, withering away in prematurity.
