I'm sorry if you got that impression, but I never intended for people to buy me books. I just know that I and other people like to see each others wish lists.

Also, yes, I do like books as objects, but simply out of beauty of the form itself and not as a status symbol of sorts. Of course I believe what's inside the covers is more important.

I just wrote a poem. Tell me what you think.

Cool earth wraps tightly around us. Constrictive veins of tower tunnels caress beating heart of grinding rock. In mastery of my element, I leap from stone to falling stone. Boulders float as feathers.

You're lying through your teeth and you fucking know it. No forum it truly homogenous unless created for only one point of view. This is a literature board, not a fucking politics board.

You are obviously mentally unstable and need help. If /lit/ is going to have political discussions, which I don't think should, then it's going to be a free market of ideas. This isn't your board to change to fiddle with and change to your liking.

I associate with him the same way you associate with him by believing the grass is green and the sky is blue.

In the off chance that a feminist committed mass murder upon a hundred men, would you change your views on feminism there after? I highly doubt it.

This isn't hard to understand, really. I'm sure your self-aware of the logical fallacies you constantly use and do so with no regret what so ever.

Once again, you use guilt by association as a means to avoid raising an actual argument.

Just because someone shares a view with a mass murderer doesn't mean they honor his actions or him what so ever, and to falsely use his killings to your advantage in a conversation is a complete disservice to those he killed.

You know nothing about the real world and are simply a useful idiot.

You are not intelligent, and hopefully you'll grow out of your delusion once you reach adulthood. Oh wait, you're not intelligent.

DeLillo and Pynchon are probably the best living writers we have. I didn't really care for what I've read of McCarthy's "The Road," but I do plan on reading Blood Meridian.

Yes, gentleman. The time has finally come.

1. Open http://www.random.org/ and generate a number within the limits of 1 - 220
2. Open http://pastebin.com/3UPrkbXF and find your book
3. Read and enjoy. You could also help others find books if you so please or make of bumpings.

No. If were going to have DFW, it's just going to be IJ, and even that's a stretch.
