I read Noumena before I'd even heard of D-G and got along fine with it. Just rode the schizowave with some lateral thinking, and now that I'm reading Deleuze I've found that going at him through Land has actually made it easier. I think you'll get something out of it if you have a decent intuition (:

Can't really qualify it in any way [I don't usually read biographies] but Hallett's biography of Gabriele D'Annunzio was brilliant and surprisingly nonpartisan - worth getting stuck into even if you're not very familiar with him

I kinda agree with this - usually rhetoric and preaching is the substitute for well-thought arguments or well-staged dialectics, so you'd have to be careful to make sure that what you have fills that role sufficiently. I think it's worth trying though

>And I also want to glorify God with this story cycle, so I want to offer up works of genius in every form that the written word can take.
>So this narrative poetry, this epic poetry, keeps breaking in on the prose of their 'normal' life, until it finally takes the story over in the final quarter, as all traces of normalcy are stripped away.
Get out of my head anon
I'm trying to do something similar with an alchemical triune of novels that breaks into the epic and poetic as the characters pass through God and absolute Being into a new divine subjectivity.
Keep it up, it's very good <3

I found an incomplete set going for pennies in a charity shop a couple of months ago and bought them for the nostalgia hit. I can't help reading into certain parts as Deary being tendentious now but I still enjoyed re-reading them. Incas and Aztecs were probably my favourite.

He sounds like an actual intellectual, like Tony Morrison or something
Never tell him that Wuthering Heights is a kind of savage rhapsody, you'll regret it
