Okay thanks for the attention i apologize for burdening you with my worries .
Ron Paul ain't that bad
i don't live in Texas or Kansas so neither he or his son represent me
But at least they add to the discussion unlike their peers
But it is my belief that representation only facilitates laziness

i am going to go numb my brain with vidya games

pic was the only one that dealt with reading
also schools don't really educate our children there are more and more illiterate graduating from high school and our teachers couldn't careless if the people in their classes learn as long as they get a pay check

whats /r/atheist?

i thought that a group of people who read literature might want to discuss the decline of said /lit/
there are few good books being written and people couldn't care less as long as they can discuss Kim and Kanye's baby

Dear e/lit/ists,
I am of the opinion that illiteracy is the bane of civilization. I think the growth of the illiterate population signals the fall of culture and society.
Recently i have read articles talking about how Jihadis in Afghanistan and Philippines are using children as suicide bombers and child soldiers, and are able to fill their heads with ridiculous ideas (like suicide vest only kill the other people) because they are illiterate and uneducated.
I fear that the culture of illiteracy is on the rise. People are growing more and more willing to not read, they accept information blindly simply so they don't need to read and educate themselves. I fear that for all the good the internet has done it is being used as a tool by the uneducated to facilitate their illiteracy and spread their ignorance.

I bring this issue up because i wish to ask how can we fight illiteracy? and am i over reacting?

i see three major themes in the future of lit u tell me if they are vanguard enough for you.
Art- someone eats some Mcdonalds craps it into a kindle and then ask what u think of his work
Politics- Religious conservatives and anarchist will join forces to create a manifesto in where people shoot it out and god sorts it out
Culture- people will fight depression with drugs, addiction with mysticism, and disappointment with apathy
So am i edgy yet?
also pic is my book cover

because if i wrote a story with no protagonist no conflict no climax and no ending then it might be unique but it would still be shite

not really sure what u mean
I think of a sentence sometimes then while i type it and read it doesn't really make mesh with what i was thinking until i fiddle with it
but i am never sure if anything i write makes any sense
Like the thing i wrote was meant to be a play on the idea that when u die there is a white light and a long tunnel, but life is just a journey down path which we don't know the destination but we have to walk all the same

dont like it make it a corny hallmark movie
>...oh wait, that doesn’t make any sense
i chuckled out loud
also i think the transitions between paragraphs need help its a little too jarring when it jumps from disappointing work to disappointing in sex

xi accept that the survelliance people are twisted people with a twisted sense of humor but also the guy sets off terror flags he has to be watched for the security of us all
