I had a dream filled with overwhelming terror and awe. I stood in the middle of the street during a summer night and looked to the sky to count the millions of sparkling lights shining on earth and on me. Then a falling star streaked out of the blackness and shot over the horizon leaving a faint luminous trail in its wake. More and more Meteors began to fall, which lit the night sky as if it were morning with white artificial light. I was stunned in its beauty standing in that street trying to count them. My neighbors and friends began to fill the streets and they gasped and pointed at each one. Then past the horizon to the south a falling star struck the earth sending up a bright explosion. Screams of panic filled the street as people scrambled back into their houses and watched the falling of the heavens in the safety of their glass houses with bibles and crucifixes clutched to their breasts. Then heaven did descend on the earth in the form of a monstrous white burning conglomerate that ripped through the sky and landed to the north sending up something that can only be described as a mushroom cloud that swallowed up the northern skies in blood. I watched the ripples of its wake erase the earth as it sped towards me. I did not run towards the false safety of my home and when the wave hit I was washed away in the fire and crushing gravity.
