1. Biographies are sorted by subject not author
1.1 Biographies of authors who I own at least three or more books of can be put on the fiction shelf with their author.

Something like that. Non fiction bookshelf rules can be more flexible and will just be sorted by what feels right.

Anthologies can be tricky.

Great Political Theories is a two volume book which seems to cover a good amount of political movements and ideologies

Bizarro fiction seems to take surreal and/or offensive elements of certain writers like Burroughs to an absurd extreme. It lacks construction of prose and it's only element is just shock which is really lazy.

Nice over-simplification/handwave. There are many contributing factors of the Flynn effect and none (unless you have some ground breaking research that indicates otherwise) are fully understood.

Even the study you are mentioning account for the Flynn Effect and recognizes the validity of it but explains it as a genotypic intelligence and not what they are discussing in specific.

You could view it more like Ebert in that it doesnt have to meet a universal standard but rather if it does what it is looking to do well. In some regards GRRM is great at what he does, I'm not a fan of it, it isn't for me but I would recommend it to someone who is into that kind of stuff.

People who have a problem with this probably use dozens of other words in a non-prescriptive manner without realizing it. I guess people need to grasp at anything to make themselves feel smart.
