I think what you should do is watch Breaking Bad, and if you've already seen it then I want you to watch it again and then pretend to be Walter White. There are a lot of things you can do that might make this easier, like buying some headphones and then playing the breaking bad opening theme song everytime your character does something. Maybe you should also shave your head, and remind yourself that you're doing this for your family. And also pretend that there's a little guy constantly saying "bitch" all the time right next to you. There are a lot of very beautiful things that people can do to improve their D&D sessions, and this is just one of them.
