Alright, I concede, Chomsky endorsed some less than stellar governments. But didn't the US also endorse dictatorships in Chile, Pakistan, Zaire, Iran, South Korea, South Vietnam, support Apartheid in South Africa, attempt to overthrow the governments of Nicaragua, and Cuba, and fund the creation of Al Qaida? You can't honestly say the government did all that crap in the interest of 'saving lives'. They were consolidating their own power and trying to create hegemony, through any means necessary. Neither side is exactly innocent here.

Criticizing the foreign policy regarding certain regimes isn't tantamount to endorsing them. By that logic, any criticism of the Iraq War automatically means the critic must endorse suicide bombers, terrorists, the former regime of Saddam Hussein, and all other ideas and tactics held and used by the enemy.

Maybe you're an individualist at heart. You believe people are more capable of making intelligent decisions as individuals than they are as groups, or as is dictated by an abstract entity such as government. Most political ideologies are a pairing of social beliefs and economic beliefs, so until you outline your beliefs on how an economy should function in a society, you can only really be categorized with philosophical labels.

The protagonist never justifies himself and the characters in it are pathetically one-dimensional. The whites have absolutely no flaws and their sphincters smell of marzipan, Jews and blacks are evil, blah blah blah, there's no depth to it. It's not a story, it's propaganda, it's something Marilyn Manson would have written.

He's hot.
