I can't find certain books by European sellers on the internet. Why would I buy a book that's worth 5$ from the USA? Anyway, BOOK SALE GENERAL! Sell/trade/giveaway any book you don't care about.

(tl;dr any eurofag here that sells albert camus books?)

Ethan Fucking Frome. 11 chapters and she spends one whole chapter discussing a broken dish, how it was broken, what the dish meant to the character, and how to fix it before that fake ass bitch Zeena gets home. I call bullshit.

Wrote a script about a detective trying to ge.t laid in 8th grade. I think the only point of it was "to make Superbad look subtle." I really wish I still had the comp book I wrote that in

Oh, yes, it was intended to be that way. I mean, especially with the first person segments. The main character isn't much of a linguist, and I did try to keep it simple with the third person perspective, so it didn't seem like "oh man all of the sudden painfully descriptive."

In short, yes, I intended everything to be the way it is. But I have made some revisions. Strengthened some of the more important themes. Gave some more hints. Really, what I was -trying- to do was paint a picture without ever actually describing it.

There was a blog that had all these hilariously awkward family photos. I can't really explain it any farther than that.

I think cold cocks would have been more off-putting. Either way, I always accept any comments, regardless of how posi/negative they might be. I thank you for the input, and I wish your wish to come to be.

I'm sure I'd be able to tie it together in an equally compelling manner if I put some more work in there. I might revise, I might revisit, I might leave it as is. Depends on whether or not my notepad is open.

You suggest that, and I'll suggest Thom Yorke's solo album. Really, each song has it's own little place in my heart (excepting Black Swan, it doesn't really strike me. Not yet, at least.).

I suppose when I do some revisions, I'll add a little paragraph that ties it together. But it seems like you got the main idea. Now, I don't know if I'm using spoiler tags correctly, so I'll add some fancy little borders.

[spoilers] Lyn and her Boyfriend at the time were both alcoholics. She was pregnant with twins. One night, on Christmas eve, when the boyfriend had planned to propose, they got into a huge argument. This led to him leaving, going out into the rain, headed to a bar. If he couldn't drink at her house without getting shit for it, he was going to drink at a bar. Later that night, he returned home, clearly drunk. Now, Lyn wasn't a saint either. She had been drinking the whole time he was gone. Things got a little out of control, and started to get physical. Her boyfriend then, in his intoxicated state, decided it would be a good idea to end it with her right then and there. He was a strong guy, very good with his hands. So he took care of the first step to leaving her. Take care of the kids. He wasn't ready to be a parent, anyways. And why not have some angry sex at the same time? Lyn was raped after her husband forced an abortion upon her. This sent her spiraling down the lovely path of depression. The last part takes place a year later. The boyfriend had given her the gift early, and this sent her over the edge. The time between her getting the gift and her taking the pills, she experienced the first few segments. These obviously didn't happen. Not in the way she saw them, at least. [/spoilers]

Really, I could easily just spill the beans, but half the fun with these things is figuring out. I can't say I've heard of any of those strings of words in quotes, though. I will be using google, though.

Now you don't think that after being raped, you'd have a positive view of men, right?

She did have a rather rapey relationship with a rather drinky male, yes. It's a step past rape, though.
