I'm fresh out of high school and I'll be studying for a Bachelor of International and Global Studies with a major in Political Economy next Feburary, but basically all of my knowledge of political and international relations theory comes from obsessively reading the news, Noam Chomsky, Zizek, and some anarchist literature (Mikhail Bakunin, Rudolf Rocker, Emma Goldman, etc). So I was thinking I should read at least one major text from the major currents of political and economic thought, especially those of today's major players (such as neoliberalism). D'sanyone have any suggestions?
