When it comes to the prose, probably not. His style got even better as he aged.

Not until everyone on this board has read The Tunnel.

It's not overtly bad, but it is quite basic and unfocused. I recommend reading more.

Not terrible, but it's unfocused and lacking in direction.

There's one or two punctuation errors, but, otherwise, you seem to have the basics down. Now, work on developing your style and ideas.

Out of context, this is too much.

>but I think this is better than most fantasy works you all probably read.
It's not; somehow, it's worse.

Your best bet is to get it off Amazon. And reading it translated would be like reading Ulysses translated, as the rhythm and musicality of his writing—what makes it so astounding—is untranslatable. Even if it's hard and doesn't make sense, read it in English.

I want you to ask yourself these questions when you write: why did I write this? what does this mean? and why am I writing how I am. Don't just spit out perfect rhymes (which is, by the way, gross); don't just say random shit because it sounds cool; don't just write to write. You need consider each word's meaning and connotation; each line's flow and effect.

Here's what you need to do right now: look this over and think about what you are trying to express, what you want this poem to do. Then, you need to analysis every aspect of it and judge whether you have achieved your goal. If not, revise it until you have.
