Making music is easy as fuck
Even if you can't be bothered to learn theory, anyone can make lowercase, harsh noise, ambient, and most EDM on a computer with no musical knowledge
i recommend it

I saw her complete sonnets in a store the other day, and I wanted to buy it
Should I go back and purchase it? Or leave it on the shelf

You don't like Ginsberg?
I take it you're not a fan of kerouac either
What kind of poetry are you into?
I'm honestly a poetry novice, I stole it because it was in the recommended poetry guide, and I couldn't find it anywhere else. I like Howl, after reading it a few times
Any poetry collections you would recommend?
Except Sylvia Plath

Yeah, but it's Allen Ginsberg, so it was worth it
Besides, as long as my books are readable, I don't care what condition they're in

I stole a collection of poems from the library today
I ripped off the categorization sticker, ripped off the plastic jacket, and the library card as well as the barcode
And I had to cover the other sides of the book in black marker because there was the library stamp on each side
And I ripped out the first page because of the stamp on it, and cut out the ripped edges with a craft knife
Then hid it in my bag with a bunch of my books and checked out some library books
Damn, it feels good to be gangsta

What's in your currently reading pile? And what do you think of them so far?
For me
>Right Ho, Jeeves
I fucking love P.G. Wodehouse, and Arrow is amazing for republishing so much of his old work
>Confederacy of Dunces
Very funny, but I stopped at the dog part. It was kind of disturbing to me for some reason
>Kafka on The Shore
Pretty slow and uneventful so far, but that's just murakami
>Candide
The one I'm reading now, enjoying it a lot, a total schadenfreude book so far
What about you /lit/?

Yeah, that was me
I used to read in class all the time
Even though my taste was pretty plebeian, I still got complements (Ernest Hemingway, Haruki Murakami, J.D Salinger, etc)
I even got complements from my english teacher for reading such challenging books (He said he'd never finished anything by pynchon when he saw me reading crying of lot 49)
I remember insulting all the kids who read harry potter, and towards the end of high school, twilight as well
In fact, I got warnings for "bullying" for criticizing other peoples taste in literature, film and music

Most of their taste is pretty childish, and they discuss tv too much, which I have no interest in
I mainly go on /mu/, /lit/ and sometimes /fa/ and /fit/

Australia has shitty candidates anyway
Abott vs Gillard is really a choice between the lesser of two evils
I'd vote for Abott, in the hope that he pushes anti-abortion laws, gets rid of the civil union, etc.
