Well it's mainly in favour of cloning animals but not people. It discusses the ideas of saving starving people, religion against cloning, improving livestock, medicine developed from cloning, abnormal development of cloned animals, cloning human organs etc.

/lit/ i need your help.

I've made a discursive essay about cloning but I can't think of a good title just "Cloning".

Help me think of a title with a pun or a smart title.

Thanks in advance.

Battery Pack

You are a replacement
You are connected
Keeping me alive
My seconds ticking down
You heat up
You take the switches
You make it appropriate
I could ruin it all
I could bring back the original
It sits in my draws
It waits
To be used?
One day?
Not until I get it fixed.
You shall do for now.
You had to be fixed too.
You were free.
But not to buy.
What will happen when you die?
What will happen when I do?
Will you continue to charge?
Will you burn a hole in my bed?
Will you keep my body warm till I am found?
I probably should go to sleep...

For some reason if I've got a good idea and I drink coffee (only coffee, no soft drinks) I feel alot more focused and will usually punch out a few pages and often get a bit more creative with my ideas...I get a tad hyperactive....thinking about having coffee now, despite it being almost midnight here.

Yeah, this made me think you were trolling with names like that.
I actually do know a girl who's dog is named Picasso, it's a little sausage dog, but the Robespierre, was a bit bullshit...unless there is a reason.
Where does the name come from?

I'm currently in a relationship with a girl which is going to about 3 months at the end of this week.
We met at the Uni library after I added her on Facebook through a mutual friend.
We basically played hide and seek and tried to find where each other was by telling each other who the next person was walking around either corner.
Eventually I posted what I looked like, walked around, waved and walked back.
We went out on a date the weekend afterward.
It's been pretty weird and awesome ever since. She's 26 and a gamer and an avid reader and we start back at Uni soon.
I'm usually social when asked, just like the other post, if people are like, dude we should get drinks and I like the person, I will go out and drink, talk, write and other stuff, best is when a few friends drink and write or watch movies or just bullshit for hours, but other than that I basically browse 4chan, play vidya and write.

If you are trolling, I hope you get shot in the stomach.
But if not, you're welcome, live long, prosper, write and remember a little sunscreen doesn't hurt...

I love the opening, love from >>The animal flitted across the room and leaped on Andre's lap. He flicked the dog off as though it were an unwanted fly. After a second and third rejection, Robespierre bore a destroyed expression,
till the end
But there needs to a be a bit more explanation to some of these characters and what they look like.
Also, love: pondering into a mirror in deep concern over a wrinkle that had not been there yesterday, and astutely applying the bottled and boxed beauty.
Pretty nice for a first draft OP

FUCK YEAH DOCTOROW.
I think this man is a genius to begin with. I started, like a usual net-teen, to find out about Doctorow through XKCD, read some of his work and even saw him in a documentary which is one of my favourite movies of all time now.
My first reaction to this was a bit like reading a tiny bit of some sort of weird fan fiction in which Anda was an author avatar but going on a bit more and more it slowly developed with a bit more character and took on an actual topical issue of women in gaming.
Being Australian, the accent and attitude was dead on, my mum and a few of my female friends (I'm a gamer too) are a bit like Liza. It was quite interesting and I almost dismissed it. Doctorow knows his fanbase, his audience, his characters and his dialogue down to a t, the way he has personified female gamers from both ends of the spectrum is fantastic and is a pretty good read.
Re-rollan :) Might do this for another hour before heading to sleep.
