/lit/!
It appears that the bookstores no longer have seperate genre aisles, choosing to shove all the Horror, Mystery, etc. into the general fiction area.
I remember being a wee child and seeing a fuckton more sections to choose from. Why have they done this?
What has happened to my ability to choose from specific sections of literature?
All I wanted was a corny pulp-horror novel to read.

I'm going to write a book featuring a robot with a super intelligent octopus buddy solely because of this image. Together they will travel a world filled with other intelligent beings and robots 500 years after mankind has left the planet, returning only in cloaked secrecy to observe like scientists in hiding.
Any thoughts?

I heard the Mahabhatara is decently long. Like literally, "one of the longest books of all time" long.

>"the the"

It always bugs me when people do this.
If you can't write something correctly, try again using different wordings. Not "the the".

The Old Man and the Sea.

Goddamn. It's like reading a beard.
