I can't speak for all members of our collective, but I'm writing this from a 2007 dell laptop. I ate peanut butter for lunch, as i have every day this month.

we are not selling a product, and make no money from our site or our work. We are not making any promises about our work. We were excited about the follow endorsement we recieved from alt-lit-press, one of the most innovative content aggregators in recent literary memory.

we then shared our work with the board. How is this different from threads where you post work and ask for critiques? we hoped to generate a discussion, and we did.

we would actually quite enjoy this and we would post the end result on our blog.

again, we don't see what's reportworthy in posing content for discussion. it is the denizens of the board who have reacted with such vitriol; we are here asking for submissions, and hoping to provoke discussion about new literature. Isn't that what this board is for?

you know nothing of any of our lives. For all you know, we are 40 year old teachers or government workers who are frustrated by the confines of our capitalist society

you undermine your own points when you generalize in this way. we know nothing of your life, and you know nothing of ours.

That's a shame; if you think you can do better, you're welcome to submit.

and yet you criticize our movement?
you clearly have no base to do so, if you don't trade in our field.

When the war ended there was a bang and a flash and a muffled roar. We ate some turkey, we ate some pig, we ate ourselves, and we wished for it to start again. There was no end in sight. There was no sight for sore eyes. We were dead. We are your creation. KONY 2012

we do like the "sinceretist movement" idea, though we hesitate to give our movement a particular title, to avoid pidgeonholing it

we regularly recieve likes and reblogs, and we have enough submissions that we are able to reject some based on quality.

and the vast majority of these are real tumblrs that follow us.

It's a shame you guys aren't as open minded when it comes to our efforts as the tumblr alt-lit community; as you can see, weve had some substantial success

unfortunately, we find TAR a bit too conventional and restrictive for our tastes, in spite of their open-submission format. we just provide a different kind of art. We think they're doing some awesome stuff though!

hit us up. We're open minded. Submit forms are on the page.

we personally believe in a return to simplicity, and then playing with its norms.

sorry you failed to recognize that.

our point exactly. Thank you for finally realizing that our work holds up.

We are not just one person; we are a collective movement, so all these posts referring to us as a singular entity are misguided in their perception of our work

sorry to hear that. We just hoped to get some feedback, and engage in discussion with what we believe is art worthy of consideration.

of course we're not perfect. we're simply the most innovative. innovation requires trial and error, and we believe error to be critical to our art.

we view the future as encompassing the present; how else would you describe our existence other than "futuristic"

similarly, we found it fun to re-appropriate the term. We're pretty much in our future, in regard to our talent, though that is not to suggest we have reached our ceiling of potential.

so any new idea automatically has to be false, absurd, or an empty provocation? that's awfully dismissive.

We should apologize for testing the boundaries of a pre-established movement?

Hm, that's a pretty anti-intellectual attitude

and you suppose that genre fiction and formula fiction is anything other than art?

even if we reject the duchampian perspective of what encompasses art (we dont), if a work sets out to convey a certian narrative or idea in a certain way, and it does that, it is art. I don't see where you get off attempting to define art.

also, we are accepting submissions.
