Actually, when it´s natural, you don´t mind its harmonic flow, but when its forced, now that´s annoying, as annoying as when you´re told you are overbuilding your vocabulary in every day conversations. The right words help you say less, is that simple and it comes natural. Anyway, I don´t really know what I´m saying here, is not like I have such a broad vocabulary myself.

I think it should be longer and should make an even greater emphasis, on the before and after eating, how hunger builds, how stomach noises start to take over, how you start to crave some food, and then when you eat it, halfways it turns disgusting, describe chewing and the such, if possible read a detailed book on the digestive system. All this from the perspective of someone, that girl from example, someone who hates food because it messes with their perfect body, describe where is she about to eat her food and the such. Describe her experience from hunger to defecation, building on the sense of disgust, and either end it when she has to enter a public restroom to perpetuate the act or go ahead and make it the most descriptive poem on defecation and the hygene procedures that come after. Hell, why not write a whole novel? You have potential. Good luck.

...in a manner of speaking was just one more illusion. Because I never had a son. Now that I’m dead I’ve had time to think and understand.

In heaven they told me they’d made a mistake. That they’d given me a mother’s heart but the womb of a whore.

When he pulled out his hand he showed me something that looked like a nutshell. ‘This proves what I’m demonstrating to you‘

So, OP, I´m curious, I´ve never read it myself, but since you had, what does this means in the context of the whole book, was she just a crazy whore?
