>tfw you see the sexual allusions in a reading but no one else has noticed and you don't want to be the one to raise your voice and say, 'i think here it's suggesting that the brothers had sex'

your hate is one of my loves. i've seen pynchon do this and it made for the some of the most immersing description i've yet read. one doesn't need to recall every object on the list, only to take an impression.

my crisis was the opposite; was nihilism. it's not a good place to start.

ding, got
near to the end (i just checked; it's on the last page) he muses that he'll now write another book but that it will have to be fiction this time.

i agree indeed. it's infuriating how many women are dabbling at the 'male narrator', or at least 'male protagonist', game, and getting it horribly wrong; and, really, doing so with almost no, or at least very few, repercussions. the obvious complaint i'm making is that, when roles are reversed, such is no longer the case, and there's backlash and rabble-rousing and so on...

when women try to write gay men, too, as though their being gay will allow the author to draw more from her own experiences, is one of the more aggravating tendencies of women writers.

question to any femanons: what kind of things do male authors fuck up when they write women?

>they truly believe "my soul was born into the wrong body"
>perhaps i'm being irrational
they're deluded, anon. if you ask around outside of the internet, you'll find you're in the enormous majority. being a 'male brain' inside of a 'woman's body', when x-ray's will prove that's not the case, makes as little sense as this: http://transcats.me/post/32255175406/humanprivilegelist
