Why do you deflect any confrontation or oppositing tastes to a projected sense of collective?
Anyway, the purpose of the thread is so clear cut.
If 'you' (individual/collective/schizo) care so much about a clean posting enviroment, don't shitpost because any of the commentary upset you.

Are you the same type of guy who cries about 'hipsters' and 'faggots'?
Are you the same type of guy who makes those 'fuck swag' or 'fuck justin bieber' comments on YT videos?

Are you the same kind of guy who thinks Nolan is a good director?
Are you the same kind of guy who thinks BrBa or The Wire are good TV?

Just wondering. All honest questions.

Rate/Review/Comment on the last 3 books you read

Notes From the Underground: 4/10 Self indulging, dull through and through. Maybe it would have been cutting edge in the 19th century?
It's all bean beaten to death now though.

No Longer Human: 6/10. It's enjoyable but it's misleading and disappointing in many ways
I went into 'No Longer Human' expecting someone losing their humanity
Instead I just get some self important melodramatic and narcissistic kid with a hard time empathizing with others
Also, the whole thing reads a bit too much like a vainly embellished auto biography to be taken seriously

Richard Yates: 10/10. Don't care how much hate Lin gets here, don't care how many memes or lists you throw him in. One of the best works of literature I've ever had the pleasure of reading. His writing is just perfect. Authentic, humble, and not even understated so mucha s perfectly stated. Great literature completely devoid of any purple prose.

>Oh, except that in a socialist society, proper medical care would be available to them

Except that you don't need to be in a socielist society for any of this.

Fundamentally capitalist societies can adopt socialist notions like welfare states and thrive.

Socialist societies cannot adapt capitalist notions by definition.

Pure socialism is useless trash. It limits human rights, the economy, art and technological progress.

You don't.

There's nothing inherently wrong with Consumerism, or at least nothing that can't be fixed.

You'll sound like an edgy teenager because that's essentially where hatred for consumerism stems from; underdeveloped ethic and logic systems.

>How many people do you know today who subsist by extracting corvee labour and tax directly from controlled peasants?

Can you maintain a train of thought?
Are you seriously unable to hold a conversation without deflecting every single irrelevant tidbit whenever your hate and ignorance fueled rhetoric is called out for what it is?

>The simple case is that workers produce cultures directly, the bourgeoisie do not

Again
This whole absolute of a rhetoric is based in the childish assumption of 'BOURGEOISE DON'T PRODUCE THEY'RE INHERENTLY UNCULTURED'

>Even their parlour culture of the 19th century

You

Are

Not

In

The

19th Century

You never lived through it

And your knowledge of it passes as little more than clumsy pseudo-history

>ably exposed in Zola

Honestly

HONESTLY

Can't you maintain a train of thought for yourself without namedropping irrelevant authors?

> like a combination of steel wool and lye

this just gets more cringeworthy by the post

i am not even eloquent enough to describe how ridiculous your toiling prole affectation sounds by now

this whole conversation is beyond frustrating

i've never had the displeasure of talking to someone so basic minded, so childish, so hate filled and so ignorant yet so sure of his convictions
