I can understand where some people may be wary of pieces of art, but if they go so far as to vehemently and broadly disavow an entire medium, they're fucked, and really I pity them that they can't enjoy art in such a fulfilling way. But whatevs.

rhymes (especially in part 2) are kinda forced, and I feel like it could benefit from a language a bit sharper, a bit more serrated, jagged, skittery, if you take my meaning. I don't know how to put it specifically, but your message could come across a lot stronger if it bore a crisper diction. I feel it lacks a sense of romanticism and (i shudder to say it but...edginess, really) that could bring the gist from one of borderline trite to compelling.
