no ambitions. i used to toy with the thought of writing, but unless one is willing to churn out pulpy trash for teenage audiences, one can never hope to succeed in todays market. sure, there are still good books that gain a measure of notoriety - but its literally like winning the lotto. nowadays my greatest literary ambition is to look at pics of cute 19 year olds on goodreads & think naughty thinks...

I wouldn't necessarily say it's better. It explores much of the same ideas but has a more sci-fi feel to it. I'd say it's more akin to BNW with a dash of The Giver.
