The Gawker family of sites are not really news. They are at best on par with Tabloids.

You mean patronage. It is something that is still around. Not as much anymore but it is something that is still around in the classic sense. But if you really like some writers work you really should fork over a bit of cash.

I think the more progressive view is to have the relationships as relationships rather than have them be just for titillation. There is no such thing as a homosexual, just homosexual acts.

Neverwhere s the weakest of his work. the thing about Gaimen is that most of his stuff is re-told fairy tales. Also read what ever you want next.

But the Jerry Cornilus stuff is so out of print at least here in North America. You can still find the Elric novels in print via omnibuses that they still print.

Now if you do not want to pick up that hard bound copy. You could just pick up The Call of Cthulhu and Other Weird Stories: (Penguin Classics ). In that volume it has all the big ones. It also has end notes and the stories that are printed in the Penguin Classics version are the definitive versions.

I use it to catalog my personal library( I love there iPhone app). I think someone started a group on there for this board.

Also King is a bit nuts with this series. So much so that he almost always adds something to his books from this series.

>> No.2238365 [View]

If you have a good thrift shop or a quality used book store you can pick up a copy for under 5 dollars. It is one of those books that is often given to schools, so it something that is common.

But you still asked for someone to do your homework. You did not do it in a direct way, but you still did it.

>> No.2238330 [View]

That is one thing that King almost never gets called out for. He loves to add really pulpy elements to his stories and novels.

Seriously, this is not a homework help board. Don't be cheap and go and pay someone to do your homework.

Now how many books that you guy's download with those e-readers have shit formatting?

A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.

Well most published authors do not want to read what you wrote, not because they are dicks. It is really over the fear of getting sued and in turn their reputation being tarnished. That is just Mr. Ellis having zero tact in social media, if anything it is something a blog can talk about and get him a bit of press.

Just on the pages. Just be very careful, it is very easy to shrink and make the pages wavy if you leave the heat on it for to long.

>> No.2211007 [View]

Using a iron on a very low setting. It should dry out the pages, without too much waving or shrinking.

Bruce sterling and William Gibson's The difference machine. It is the only steam punk novel that I recommend. It is the only one that I have found that does not try to add magical elements.

I do plan on getting a kindle soon. I think I'm going to get the cheapest one to start, the adds. The thing that does make me happy is that you can pay 30 dollars down the road and get rid of the ads.

Once I downloaded a book and it was in Comic Sans.

>> No.2148662 [View]

To this day I have not downloaded a known pirated E-book that did not have fucked up margins. Just yesterday OP I found 3 copies of the first book for under a dollar( this is at the thrift shop mind you).

If you want to pay for your audio books Audible has the best service around. Their gold plan starts out at 14 dollars a month which is one book credit and you also get a 30% off discount off of any other audio book. Also the audio books do not have DRM and just MP3's, so they will work on just about any player you have. Even after you have canceled the service the books are for you to keep. If not just Google it.

The winter King by Bernard Cornwell is the first novel in a trilogy. It is more of a serious political thriller than fantasy or even action based novel. I think it is worth checking out if you want a Arthur story.
