Well, I've been saying this every issue: ALRIGHT GUNNA WRITE SUM MUFUCKIN STORIES. and I never do. Might as well try this time.

I'm pretty sure if it's blatantly terrible they'll toss it.

It all depends I guess. If I had a stable job and shit, I would rather be an obscure writer. Though, if it came to a "Alright now's the time to follow your dreams" situation, I would write the fuck out of paranormal romance and make a shitload of money.

Pic related, about an hour ago, etc.

>buy book
>see sticker for some teen book award shit
>already know Twilight is going to win
>check it out
>see this
>rage uncontrollably anyway

Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with kids nowadays?

Writing about a world completely riddled with cloud-topping cliffs. The only ground are the canals that exist between each cliff. The people that live at the base of the cliffs are criminals and exiles. It follows the story of a young coal miner who ends up making a pact with one of the cliff base's well-known thieves, and they go on awesome cliff-dwelling thieveries.

Anyone else notice the similarities in the end of book 1 and THE PENIS WAS? I kind of really fucking raged at that...

Did you just gather all the genres into one 'Fiction' category or are you guys not accepting scifi/fantasy anymore? I haven't read through the stories yet but I was just curious.

I like to believe that Heaven is a huge library with every book ever, and that God is a smoking hot librarian.

You know you can't deny this ideal.

Looked into those. Not what I'm thinking of at all.
It's weeaboo of me, but whoever saw that Eden of the East anime would kinda get the idea of what I'm talking about.

>I want to write a book where events that happen on the internet somehow leak into real life.
I should have worded that better. The events of shit that happens online effects people in real life. Think, people taking the internet too seriously.

I want to write a book where events that happen on the internet somehow leak into real life. Like, a "game" of sorts that was set up, and then a bunch of "players" go around in real life and shit, probably in some sort of stand off against each other one way or another.

If there's something like this, I'd like to know so I can read and not rip it off. If not, would you read it /lit/?

Fuck yeah Durarara!! Find the translations and read that.

Actually I'm curious about this too. Bumpah.

Thanks to you, /lit/, I've felt the need...or rather, urge, to read more. I've stopped watching animus and playing vidya (still do, just not as much now), and actually read and go outside and shit. So uh...thanks.

If I was a girl, I'd write ILY /lit/ all over my tits. That's how grateful I am.

Writing about a world where people live in cliffs, and due to religion/mythology, can't go to the base of the cliffs. The main character and some master thief go on cliff-dwelling thieveries. It's gunna be awesome.

>> No.778450 [View]

I read the first one, still waiting for 2-4 to come in so I can read them.

Municipal darwinism ftw.

>If you can identify it, why can't you just...not do it.
Because I have some stupid OCD about being underdescriptive, I suppose.
