I don't know. Time to go back to my wishlist where I keep track of what I want to check out next. Probably some diamond dozen trash. In the meantime, I'm going to finish Instantiation by Greg Egan first. I wasn't very impressed by the first story although I'm sure he'll have some wild shit in store. And at last, I am one story away from finishing the big PKD short story omnibus.

I completed Confessions of a Crap Artist last night. Definitely one of the more tame (i.e., no wild psychedelic experiences, no mindfucks, and so on) PKD stories, and very human, truly captures the subjectivity of human nature.
I am around halfway through Stations of the Tide and I finally got into it a few chapters back. The prose is quite purple.

PKD is Twilight Zone in literature format. I'm reading The Cosmic Puppets now and am almost finished.

I actually really like this story, I am glad I have enough content to sate me for now (imagine starting this shit one or two books in), and I care more about Lindon's ascendancy than the overall story with Suriel and the Way.

Welp I finished Runeforged and started Runefate. It's definitely not!Mistborn with some deviations that hopefully lead down fun paths.

Why do I care about most of the subplots in each Malazan? Although right now I'm nearly halfway through TtH and I'm excited to see the remaining marines fucking up the people who ambushed them, absolutely destroying their anal cavities. I wanna see my boy Cutter fuck the shit out of Apsalar already. I wanna see Kallor get fucked up by literally anybody. I wanna see Seerdomin become the new vengeful Itkovian and I want to see more of Itkovian being the best character in the series. I like Barathol and Mappo. Iskarel chapters are like Kate episodes in LOST.

Reaper's Gale has been pretty gotdamn good so far. I'm somewhere in Part 3. Erikson is a great writer.
