You can't really appreciate/fully understand a book if you don't read it at least twice. Only books you shouldn't re-read are the boring ones or those that don't need much thought given into it (like history ones)

I bought World as Will and Representation vol 1 and vol 2 on Amazon but I just got vol 1 cause vol 2 apparently got lost. I can buy it again but it's fucking expensive and I could just buy it at a local store for a cheaper price. The problem is that I bought an English translation on Amazon and the local one is in Spanish. Will I get lost if I I read one volume in Spanish and one in English?

Is worrying about translations retarded? I've been buying expensive books just because they are acclaimed to be "good translations". I could just buy cheaper ones tho. Is it really worth it investing in "good translations"? I feel like I might miss a lot if I get a shitty translation

When people ask what you read how do you answer you read controversial authors or books without looking like a pseud or a chud? Like, how do you tell normies that read YA your favourite book is Genealogy of morals and your favourite authors are Nietzsche and Stirner?

What are some good books about psychology?

I have been reading the same 10 books from the same authors for the last year and a half. I have read them each 5 times. Does that count as reading 50 books? It's Nietzsche and Stirner btw

Teacher said in class we should separate authors from their works as long as they're just fiction. But if they are writing essays we cannot separate it. He mentioned Heidegger as an example for lying about his antisemitism Is he right?

What's your favourite Nietzsche's work. For me its Genealogy of Morals. His point about slave morality is still applicable to today's society and changes your worldview once you read it.

I spent 15 dollars on a shitty animated edition of The Illiad on Amazon. I didn't like it so I just bought the Gredos edition (which seems to be the best one in Spanish) for 25 dollars at a local store. Was it a good move? I had no idea my local store had it, have I known that I wouldn't have wasted those 15 dollars
