Is there any contemporary book that talks about the guilt behind not working enough or not being rich and successful?

>feel disgusted when I see billionaires donating money
>feel disgusted when seeing people say their family makes them happy
>"noble causes" like healthcare, formal education, space travel etc. are all wastes of time
>feel bad for not being rich
>feel bad for not working all the time
>feel bad that all those slagfus I see will never have sex with me
>have no passions
>feel disgusted about the idea of being spooked

What book can help?

How do I set goals in order to achieve big things and fulfil my potential? I was never someone who failed school or university or anything like that. I always did very well. But I find it hard to motivate myself without external pressure.

I might set up a system with daily goals, or weekly goals, or possibly even 6 month goals but I never believe in it. I see it as a valid artificial tool or measure to use and then immediately believe in the naturalistic fallacy and tell myself that living with these goals lowers my quality of life, or that any measure becomes worthless as soon as it's used as the be all and end all.

If I try to set rules like "after 8 pm only do leisure activities", in order to stop my guilt about not working, I feel ridiculous. Somehow spending all my free time on 4chan feels less ridiculous than working to a schedule or towards goals.

My only source of salvation seems to be to accept that i live in 2015, a time with many man made aspects to our lives, and fighting my inner monkey / hedonist is the only way to live as it mostly sabotages me compared to a guy living in 2000 BC.

My goals are stuff like going through certain programming textbooks, certain maths chapters, etc. I want to educate myself and gain skills.
