What set off your first existential crisis /lit/? A book? A film? A single moment? Your own thoughts?

For me it was The Stranger. First book I ever read for pleasure.

I'm a big fan of Camus' big 3 novels, The Myth of Sisyphus, and the short stories in Exile and The Kingdom (besides The Renegade which i struggle to understand).

Considering I've never read a play in my life, besides Romeo and Juliet in 9th grade English class, do you think I would enjoy Camus' plays?

So I need to know, what is one common theme in all of Camus's works and which literary devices does he use to achieve that theme?

The Golden Fool by Robin Hobb.
Also Camus' The Plague, for some reason.

I was fascinated with Albert Camus' The Fall (La Chute). I want to read more, where do I go from here?

Thoughts on The Stranger or just Camus in general?

I'm reading through The Stranger for the second time and now that I understand more about Meursalt's paradigm I'm appreciating it in a different way.

I also picked up The Myth of Sisyphus and Sartre's Nausea to enjoy afterwards.
