The name escapes me, but it's a children's book about some horses that take drugs, and then one of them dies. Of course, you could tell that from the images.

The real juicy bit is that the horses that take the drugs are black, and have black girl names, but are given the drugs by white horses with white boy names.

So, yeah, it's made a lot of "worst book ever" lists, which is probably where OP found it.
