well, i'd be interested in having a serious conversation about this...admittedly i have been seeing men post pics of themselves too...and it's not like i said all women are vain, but a lot of women are. that's my perception anyways, and it's been confirmed by various news stories i've read/real life experiences about the ridiculous things women will do to fit in and try to appear beautiful.

for example, most women shave their legs and their arms, and are afraid of showing even a little body hair. most women since the 1990s or so, it's been revealed in the Atlantic, get brazillian bikini waxes so that they don't have any pubic hair and look like children. some women won't even go out without make up. i've never seen men as obsessed with artificial tanning as women, or with putting that stupid orange glow shit on their skin. teenage women are so addicted to their cell phones, that many of them stay up too late and develop insomia because they can't stop having inane text conversations with their friends. i've never read a news story about men bullying other men over facebook, or via text messaging, but women seem to be rather adept at this particular form of harrassment.

women are the talking class. they love to chatter and backbite. they value appearance too much. i'm not saying they're dumber than men, merely that they are superificial.

i'm open to alternate perspectives from women on any of these points though.

Take this as an example: he claims "i'm not saying they're [women] dumber than men, merely that they are superificial." He contradicts himself. Superficiality is always linked to stupidity--this is a basic semantic condition. I cannot imagine a situation when superficiality, when used in the context he provided (e.g. in an attack on a gender), does not equate to dumbness.

I know males bully other males, but the conflicts i've seen involving other males tend to be things that are taken up and resolved in a timely fashion, though perhaps brutally. for example, during one of my gym classes, two guys were pissed off at eacother becaues they were getting to competitive, so at the end of the class one of the guys shoves the other into a door, and then the they start punching each other on the ground. this was resolved in that day though, and a couple weeks later they were on good terms because they vented their frustrations.

women tend to be cattier and more venemous/personal, and hold internal grudges for longer periods of time. this also probably why the suicide/depression rates for women have been traditionally higher than for men
