1.) I recognize the art, you Makah or something? Because I have been bending over BACKWARDS to find indigenous authors
2.) how do you feel about stories that focus on indigenous themes/folks? Because I’ve been wanting to write more focusing on poc characters and stuff but a majority of readers are turned off by this. For example I wanted to write a romance with a two-spirit protagonist but everyone sort of told me to fuck off.
3.) advice for other indigenous authors?

Probably really biased, but I would like to see more of them, and I think in general we are trending towards getting more representation like that.

Well, I'm basically just trying to go the self-publishing route myself >>17459900 until I sell about 500 copies, which will be enough for be to be able to put a bond down on a decent apartment in the city so I can get a job. Apart from that, my only advice would be that we should just support one another until we no longer need to.
