Is this novel the easiest pseud detector?

Seriously, why do so many tryhards pretend to dislike this book?

People pretend to dislike this? It’s just shit. I didn’t need to read anyone else’s opinions to come to that conclusion. I was really looking forward to being great, but the two other books by him that I’ve read are so much better.

Darling in the FranXX was better and I'm pretty sure the anime took some heavy influences from the novel.

Yeah I mean, sure it's not a perfect book by far but the humility of the writing, the search for lost time and the superfluity of their entire existence speaks volumes. Glad you liked it as well, anon.

Which other two? I've only read Remains but I thought NLMG was slightly superior.

I haven't read the book, but I liked the movie. I think it did a really good job of using my suspension of disbelief to emphasize the tragedy and hopelessness of the ending.

Not him but Remains of the Day and The Buried Giant made this look like tepid YA. I found Unconsoled to be a one trick pony, but I did have it spoiled
