I've never seen people talk about him on /pol/. Most of the people I do see talk about him are criticizing him and I suspect that most of them haven't interacted with writings beyond a superficial level since they act as if he's some crazy "blood and soil" super Nazi. Somewhere in the first few chapters of Revolt he explicitly rejects that sort of stuff as materialistic. It's a shame he gets meme'd because he has some genuinely interesting things to say.

I see it ultimately as a reaction against egalitarianism. MGTOW is a group of young who have been lied to all their lives. They've been told that women and men are completely equal and should be treated as such. When reality doesn't match up with ideology there's going to cause resentment. These young men have to been taught to be egalitarians and it's what they genuinely are but they observe society granting women special privileges.

If I was an egalitarian I would be extremely annoyed that police officers automatically arrest men during violent domestic disputes regardless of any evidence suggesting the woman was the aggressor. That's just a minor example. When we look at custody and divorce laws it's clear the MGTOW guys are not without reason. To them the only solution is to disengage. I would rather they question their original assumption of egalitarianism.

/pol/ here. I take him seriously, but he's not treated as an infallible saint. Guenon is far better than him in regards to religion. Evola's ideas are important because the development of society is extremely important in political theories. Marxism has dialectical materialism, do you think that fascists do not have their own? He's mostly right about the decline of societies. But the idea that we're going to go back to the Catholic church and monarchy is absurd. Time goes on. His metaphysical Spenglerism even acknowledges this in a sense, that man cannot go backwards. Only by completing a full cycle will man go back to the golden age.

Fascists support the nation-state because that is where fate has led us. We recognize that and need to milk the world for all its power. That is why the ideology can seem futuristic and traditionalist at the same time. One can be in time and still be against time.

Yes I am. Society does not actually treat men and women to have equal outcomes. This is some weak ass inference you are making because you are a weak individual who needs to feel aggrieved. Sports leagues are not equal. Maternity and paternity leave is not equal in the US. Child custody is not equal (as you pointed out). Women have very different healthcare services because they have very different healthcare needs. Many occupations still are dominated by one gender or the other. In the actual reality you live in (and not the one your weak mind is interpreting) gender and sex is an important (though not sole) aspect and predictor of almost every situation and almost every outcome. The actual big changes to society that the American feminist movement in the past 2 generations has created was basically empowering women to be just as craven and corporate of capitalists as men and the pill so they could control the results of their sexuality like men could.

The most "genders are totally equal in every way!" kind of stuff usually happens in childhood education where we had a realization that "hey, girls also can excel at education and be successful at universities". There was probably an over-correction since now girls enroll at universities at higher rates, although there might also be other reasons for that.

In any case, this is hardly a reason to become some snivelling piece of shit like you have become. Your angle in this thread is basically: "wahhh they said everyone was equal and that's not true so I feel that I've been lied to.. And now, because I have such a broken and cowardly sense of self that I invent the things I feel oppress me, now I'm going to justify disengagement and reactionary nihilism!"
