I'm looking for some good contemporary fiction that's relatively new, say post 2010's. The recommended reading only shows four books.

I have recently read Commonwealth by Ann Patchett , and am currently reading Improvement by Joan Silber, both of which are very good.

George Saunders' short story collection "Tenth of December" is another one I'd recommend (I haven't read his novel Lincoln in the Bardo yet, however).

So, what other works of fiction post 2010 are worth checking out?

1Q84 barely fits but that’s a good one. Anything Haruki Murakami I’d recommend.

Sure I've got some, most are fairly recent but I'll look into my reading journals to get some older ones:

Moonglow
The Nix
A Brief History of Seven Killings
Manhattan Beach
The Orphan Master's Son
The Incarnations
Lincoln in the Bardo

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
It's meh. But one of the only books I've read from the 2010s. I think it's a love or hate kind of book. You may like it a lot if you want to be sad
