Why does this get so much praise here? I just finished the audiobook and I can honestly say it wasn't anything special.

This book is a visual experience. I'm guessing this is bait

Does it get praise here? Also it's bad - emphasises form over content (maybe they're on and the same but eh) and the content itself is poor and he can't write for shit. Dunno if he was trying to do a Pale Fire-esque thing with it but it fell flat in my opinion

This is the way I feel about my internet one now. The form was such a high concept, but the content was so seamlessly intertwined that people only understood the decontextualised pieces. I tried hinting towards the whole, as it was sort of beautiful, but even those who understood it were dismissive. I guess there's something to be said of hanging many wooden sculptures in the same forests rather than many forests and different sculptures. Oh well, back to the cauldron.
