Not bad, pretty damn dated though. If you like Ellis, Janowitz, McInerney you'll like her. She's a better writer than they are but she hits the same notes.

Campus-murder novel. She gets the tone and the voices just right most of the times. Also, I'm a Californian who transplanted to the East Coast years ago, so it hit some personal notes for me as well.
